You will not be disappointed the cottage exceeds 4 star! Ideal for families. We have spent new year here & I could not think of any negatives at all. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Niss M, Sheffield, South Yorkshire 05 January 2011
Fantastic standard and location, the staff/owners could not be more helpful. The facilities provided were excellent. This made our family holiday. We will definitely be back. Many, many thanks. Mrs D, DURHAM 18 August 2010

I would definitely recommend this holiday cottage! It was very clean, the owners were very nice, and they had thought of and catered for everyones needs. Absolutely perfect for peace and quiet, getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city and just relaxing. Miss S, NORWICH, Norfolk 08 July 2009
A very peaceful and friendly place with a friendly host. Not forgetting the animals we had a lovely time! Mr B, Royston, Hertfordshire 02 March 2009
Toby's Barn is a beautiful converted barn, in amazing condition and great decoration. It was just perfect for us (4 adults, 3 children) and the kitchen is fabulously well equipped. The entire property is extremely clean, spacious and gives a wonderful relaxing holiday feel. Outside there are horses to chat to, ponds, peace and quiet and miles away from the main roads. The local village boasts a couple of pubs, post office, and a lovely restaurant. We were extremely impressed with everything and plan to go back again! The location is very close to Nottingham and Leicester, and the Space Museum - kids and dads were enthralled there while the ladies wandered off to the shops in Nottingham for some therapy. All in all, a heavenly experience - highly recommended. Mrs K, Verwood, Dorset 16 February 2009
A beautiful property in lovely grounds, so very relaxing. Would love to go again in the summer. Owners so kind and helpful. Miss B, Oldbury, West Midlands 17 January 2009
For anyone looking at this property I would say definitely give it a try. We were impressed by the comfort and standard of the cottage - the owners are welcoming and obviously take a pride in how pleased people are when they are first shown around! We booked for my daughter's graduation and two family birthdays and the cottage played a big part in making some happy memories. The area is not the most traditional holiday location, but actually is in easy reach of lots to do - apart from Nottingham and some lovely market towns (especially Southwell), there is the Sherwood Forest area, National Trust properties, and also the Peak District, Alton towers and Lincoln in easy reach. Then come back for a glass of wine on the lovely little patio! It was a bit tricky to find the cottage the first time, so slightly clearer instructions for the last bit of the way. Otherwise mediterannean weather is the only other improvement I can think of! Mrs H, Liverpool 18 July 2008
This was one of two weeks booked to spend with my family for after I had some hospital treatment. Peace and quiet, a beautiful setting. All the comforts with little extra touches that made it special. Mr F, Burnley 12 July 2008
An excellent and spacious accommodation, perfect for families with a dog. Lots of paddock space for exercise and an easy public footpath network directly from the Barn. Mrs G, Sidmouth, Devon 16 May 2008
You cannot improve on this holiday. The location, the quality of the accommodation and the helpfulness of the owner were all unbeatable! Mr B, Eastleigh, Hampshire 16 March 2008
Excellent cottage, extremely well equipped, very friendly owners and the dog was made very welcome. Probably the best holiday cottage we have stayed in. Mrs P, Consett, Durham 26 May 2007
Toby's Barn is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life - set in rural Nottingham, the barn is decorated to the highest of standards and surround by paddocks. The owners are more than helpful and very friendly. Toby's Barn was perfect, we had a wonderful holiday and would highly recommend it to anyone - thank you! Mrs H, Norwich, Norfolk 30 December 2006
